This is an excellent manual for IIS (Microsoft Internet Information Service) developers!
It's Introduction says "... This book is intended to help experienced developers build state-of-the-art interactive web sites to be executed on Microsoft's IIS (Internet Information Server). ..."
Admitedly, I am past the newbie stage but these days am far from being 'an experienced developer' but because this manual is well-planned, well laid-out and very clearly written (congratulations to all concerned) I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who has past the 'newbie' level of developing!
As far as I can see, this manual does everything it says it intends!
Reason for Selling? Oh am I embarrassed!!! I was buying a birthday present for one of my grandchildren, just after I had decided on that purchase and with less than two minutes to go before the till and shop closed, I spotted this Manual - just what I was looking for - so I grabbed it off it's shelf and rushed to the Tills - just in time!!!
Uopn getting home, I started to read it only to realise it was for IIS - NOT the servers which I use!!! Very Red Face!!!
MORAL : Never buy a book, particularly if it's for yourself, when under pressure AND in a hurry!!!
