Although it has not been used since my husband died (18 years ago) - this is a very strong manual hoist which works on the 'Sylvester' principle!

As you would expect with any Yale manufactured product - this is an incredibly well-crafted piece of machinery which is suitable for many different types of Trade and Industry (despite it's currently rusty state - although it IS well greased)! Unfortunately when he died my sons accidentally scrapped the two pillars and beam!!!

My husband used it as an engine-hoist.

The reason for my selling is that none of my children or grandchildren are into car maintenance and do not need such an industrial piece of equipment either for their domestic use or their businesses!

I would like to see it continue to help others with their heavy lifting.
